RRH Accepting Applications for National Teen Distracted Driving Summit

Reynolds' Right Hands - the traffic safety advocacy group formed by Crooms AoIT students - is accepting applications for high school and university students interested in attending the third annual National Teen Distracted Driving Summit. RRH is looking for ten enthusiastic students who want to help make the roads in the United States safer. From December 1st - 3rd, 2012, selected students will be flown to Washington, D.C. for the third annual National Teen Distracted Driving Summit at the Washington Court Hotel.

Alumni Team Wins Top Honors at Sanford Riverwalk 5K

In a little bit of belated news, the Crooms AoIT Alumni Association team had a fantastic showing on October 6th at the 1st Annual Sanford Riverwalk 5K Run/Walk to benefit Crooms AoIT athletics. Including walk ons, the Alumni Team registered 15 folks for the race. Many of the team's runners placed in their age group; two of our runners even placed first in their age groups and three placed second. Plus, our alumni team was named top overall team!

If you were at Crooms Academy of Information Technology during 2002 to 2006 chances are you know Frank Bracco. You say you never had classes, participated in a club, or played sports with Bracco? Maybe you knew him as the 'dork' that recited, “Rich in Tradition, Pride, and Vision,” on the morning announcements. Or, maybe you bought cookies and donuts in the morning after seeing one of his stunts to raise money for the cross country and track teams. Or, perhaps you attended a pep rally where he was the MC.
