The Dividends Recognition Day Celebration was held on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the Seminole County Public Schools Educational Support Center in Sanford. This event was sponsored by The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools. The theme for the Dividend School Volunteer Program this year has been "Volunteers: Hands that Serve, Hearts that Care."

Congratulations to the Crooms AoIT Business Professionals of America members who attended this year's National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California! The Crooms AoIT BPA chapter took 14 members to this year's event, competing against over 5,000 students from around the country, and many of them placed in the top 10 of their respective events. In a story from last week, Crooms AoIT students placed in the SCPS Violence Prevention Poster and Video Contest. Lauren M. placed 1st in the high school level of the Poster Contest, while Crooms AoIT placed 2nd in the high school level of the Video Contest. Good job!

Dear Crooms AoIT Alumni Donors and Supporters:

Attached you can find the summary information and quick read ledgers for the 2009-2010 School Year (and previous years if you wish to compare). Book closing occurred on May 8th, 2010. This year we raised $455.00 in donations, $45.00 in matching grants, and $3.31 in miscellaneous revenue, for a total of $503.31; added to reserves that equals $558.31. Total expenses were $571.13, leaving us with a deficit of -$12.82.
