James “Brock” Mangus joins Crooms AoIT Alumni Association Board of Directors
Crooms Academy of Information Technology Class of 2007 graduate James "Brock" Mangus has joined the Crooms AoIT Alumni Association's Board of Directors. Mangus officially joined the board on March 16, 2011 and his first board meeting will be in April.
"Brock will bring a unique perspective to the Board as to what our goals and objectives should be as we continue to formalize the Alumni Association," said Crooms AoIT Alumni Association President and Chairman John Amirrezvani (Class of '06). Amirrezvani noted that Mangus was the recipient of the first scholarship offered by the alumni, which was then known as the Class of 2006 Community Scholarship.
Mangus is currently in his final semester at the University in Tampa and is majoring in Electronic Media Art and Technology. He has recently been interning with a prominent radio/television media conglomerate in their Tampa regional office and intends to pursue a graduate degree in new media within a few years of graduation.
