In Danger of Not Offering a Scholarship This Year!

In order to donate, please visit http://www.croomsalumni.com/donate. Dear Croomies, This year will mark our four year of being able to provide a Crooms AoIT Alumni Scholarship to a graduate senior. Each year we count on small donations from fellow alumni in order to fund this scholarship offerings. While the first two years allowed us to build up a small reserve, last year and this year have been particular sparse when due to economic conditions. In order to offer this year's scholarship, WE NEED YOU! Fortunately, between reserves and current donations we have raised about 60% of the amount we need to. Unfortunately, most of that money comes from a single donor. WITHOUT YOUR HELP, WE WILL NOT BEING OFFERING A SCHOLARSHIP THIS YEAR. For the rest of this week, we have a 25% matching donation program going on. Sadly, only one person took part in our 100% matching program that occurred during the holidays; but, there is still time to turn this trend around! Every dollar you donate this week will be matched 25%. IF WE MAX OUT THIS MATCHING OPPORTUNITY, WE WILL BE DONE WITH FUNDRAISING, AND HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF A REVERSE. After we max this matching out, we can stop spamming everyone! All we need is twenty (20) $10.00 donations, or ten (10) $20.00 donations this week. Together we can do this! It does not matter if you are only able to give 50 cents, or $50.00; NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL OR LARGE. Once we finish fundraising, we will start putting together scholarship review board; if you donate, you can be part of the selection committee if you wish to be. We will also be looking at collecting more demographics information (work information, college attended information, etc) to help up-and-coming Croomies. We will also be putting together a program to get current seniors involved next year. Finally, we will also begin looking into ways to diversify our funding sources in order to ensure this does not happen again. But, in order to move forward, we need to ensure our scholarship can be offered this year. Remember, without you we can not move forward! Help us fulfill this commitment of encouraging post-secondary education for the new generation of Croomies. In order to donate, please visit http://www.croomsalumni.com/donate.
