Crooms AoIT Students Place in the SCPS Violence Prevention Poster and Video Contest

In a story from last week, Crooms AoIT students placed in the SCPS Violence Prevention Poster and Video Contest. Lauren M. placed 1st in the high school level of the Poster Contest, while Crooms AoIT placed 2nd in the high school level of the Video Contest. Good job!

From the official SCPS news release:

"The Seminole County Public Schools Safe and Drug Free Schools office sponsored the Violence Prevention Week Poster and Video Contests that focused on internet safety and cyberbullying. Students from elementary, middle, and high schools submitted posters and short videos pertaining to internet safety and cyberbullying prevention. Winners will receive prizes and certificates for their entries. First place winners of the poster contest will be invited to have lunch with Sheriff Eslinger. All winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Monday, May 10th in the Seminole County Public Schools board room. All school personnel, family and friends are invited."
